Gladys J. Baez-Dickreiter, 69, of San Antonio was called home by our Lord and Savior on Wednesday May 28, 2014. She is survived by her husband Walter Dickreiter, children: Walter E. Dickreiter and Brian L. Adams, grandchildren: Joshua - Brian J. Adams and Sammy - Samuel W. Adams.
Gladys lived in San Antonio all her life and enjoyed the love of her life for 50 wonderful years. She was an Asst. professor of psychology at St. Philip's College for her entire teaching career and loved her students. When she retired from teaching she started her jewelry business, Bauble, Bangles and Beads with her partner Walter. They worked side by side for over 20 years making and selling jewelry, traveling around Texas. They laughed together all the time and you never saw them apart. She loved Walter dearly. She watched her boys grow to men and was so proud of their successes. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart and was grateful to her Lord for the years He gave her. She loved to read with Joshua and always helped to find new books that they could read together. She loved to make crafts with Samuel and she always shared her snacks with him.
In lieu of flowers, Gladys requested that donations be made to the Cancer Society , www.cancer.org
